NEW YORK – Nov. 26, 2023 – PRLog — After recently releasing the snippet to her powerful single ‘Takeover’ from her upcoming third album Revelation Ships‘, singer, songwriter, producer, engineer, and multi-instrumentalist Jahna Sebastian takes over the fashion houses of Paris fashion week. Per usual the fashion icon was showing everyone up. Ms. Sebastian attended several shows organized by Becky Mullins and We Are FEP. The Fashionista attended shows on the 1st and 2nd of October at Maison de l’Amérique Latine. She also attended the Laveau presentation which was directed by Becky Mullins for her upcoming reality docu series, The Artisan Way which is set to air on numerous platforms such as seven channels on Amazon Fire TV and 400 channels globally. Ms. Sebastian made several guest appearances for this highly anticipated new show. They shot for two days and she thoroughly enjoyed her experience.

Ms. Sebastian shared this amazing experience with her daughter Nicole, who attended the shows as well. Ms. Sebastian prides herself in exploring and learning new cultural experiences to share with Nicole.

She was able to tour the historical side of Paris with Nicole and take in its long standing history and rich architecture. They also had a chance to see the exquisite Notre-Dame de Paris, the world famous and widely recognized medieval cathedral. She also referenced this experience on social media. Ms. Sebastian shared with Nicole the book by classic French writer Victor Hugo ‘Notre-Dame de Paris’ and how they can read architecture in the old cities like books. This was poignant as it also relates to what  Ms. Sebastian referenced in her song How Did We Get Here’ from her third album ‘Revelation Ships’ in the lyrics:

When you find
What they can’t deny
All the books in stone
Stories we are told
Of the wars and love

When you see
Writings on the walls
Kingdoms rise and fall
History unfolds
Through the heat and snow

While traveling from Paris to London she wore a custom t-shirt featuring the artwork for her classic second album ‘Legends On the Map’, this magnificent artwork was drawn by artist Ainur Timergaliev. Who also created the artwork for her upcoming album ‘Revelation Ships.’

East Meets West

‘Star In The East’ by Jahna Sebastian

Singer, songwriter, producer, visionary Jahna Sebastian talks to jewellery designer Salma Gal, Turkuaz Bazaart

About
Turkuaz Bazaar jewellery is evocative of a rich past and a bright future. Born out of a passion for creating visually striking pieces using natural, semi precious gemstones and metals of gold and bronze, our jewellery fuses eastern and western design elements.

Istanbul, the only city in the world straddling two continents, Europe and Asia, and exhibiting a unique blend of east and west was the source of inspiration for Turkuaz Bazaar. Drawing on the rich heritage left by the Ottoman dynasty and combining this with western minimalism result in jewellery pieces that we at Turkuaz Bazaar call our ‘signature look’ – eastern, enticing and evocative but at the same time sleek, bold and striking.

Turkuaz Bazaar constantly experiment with textures (rough, smooth, faceted, hammered), colours (complimentary shades, contrasting colours), dimensions (solitaires, grouped stones, studded, embedded) and materials (gold, bronze, semi precious stones), to create pieces that are contemporary yet evocative of a glorious past.

Each piece is lovingly handcrafted by our artisans using only semi precious gemstones and metals such as bronze and gold. Where possible, we source our materials from within Turkey and many of the gemstones that we use in our jewelry pieces such as quartz, agate, chalcedony, drusy, opal, carnelian, amethyst, tourmaline, onyx and beryl are mined in Turkey.

We hope you enjoy our pieces as much as we love creating them.
