Ms. Sebastian began the set by enticing the concertgoers by performing brilliantly with her keyboard while deejaying, sound engineering, producing, and singing simultaneously with her mixing deck next to her. When asked about how she prepared for the show, Ms. Sebastian stated,  “I knew I wanted to play a traditional instrument domra on my song ‘Fearless’ which is a new melody line that I composed specially two days before the performance. ‘Fearless’ is from my album ‘The Alchemist’ and it was written to empower people in these important historical times.”

You can hear the emotion in Ms. Sebastian’s voice in the song’s chorus, giving the inspirational lyrics even more meaning. This is a single that truly lives up to its name with an empowering message that listeners can get behind.

Playing the domra on the show was significant for Ms. Sebastian as this was an instrument she played from the age of 7 at the orchestra and it has now become one of her signature sounds.

Ms. Sebastian also played her keyboard and did sound engineering on the song with rapper WhyBeeKay called ‘Childhood in a Bag’. She has been working with rapper WhyBeeKay on her highly respected label, Multivizion Music on many tracks and this is a project she is highly proud of presenting. when she is performing with him as a producer and playing keys. This shows their collaboration as musicians artistically and organically.

Ms. Sebastian was filmed by Elvis Eddie and was also interviewed, which was filmed by Oleg Korzun.

Ms. Sebastian stated, “Music helps me connect with people in many different ways. Music is the universal language that connects people all around the world. Music tells the story of the people, the past, the present, the future. So let’s put those legends on the map through music, culture, and art.”

Jahna Sebastian does it all, she is a universal creative genius of our time. Jahna Sebastian is a multitalented musician, composer, singer, songwriter, poet, sound engineer, spiritual healer and her wisdom is what the world needs today to understand humanity better. As a composer, she is unique in that she can make music in any genre. Her powerful voice sings reaching to the depths of the soul, touching with the lyrics and metaphors she writes skilfully, whether it’s about the world or stories that many people can relate to or telling the history of the world. Jahna self produces and engineers all of her music, which requires a lot of knowledge in mathematics, physics and technology. Jahna plays many instruments including piano, domra, percussion, gusli and many more. She has been doing music from a very young age, singing all of her life and joining a professional children’s orchestra from the age of 7 playing ancient traditional instrument domra, when she learned to read music and understand musical arrangements while watching the orchestra conductor. Since then she continued doing music professionally. She did a five-year course and has graduated with a Master’s Degree from the music university of her dreams at the age of 19, after she was allowed to do the last two years in one.

Jahna is the definition of a composer, who is making music of our times, with her classical and folk music background rooted in her culture and spiritual knowledge from the East, while at the same time understanding modern music from reggae, hiphop and R&B to house, dubstep and drum&bass. Her music describes our modern era, raises philosophical questions and tells human history at the same time. There are many videos online of her making a beat, playing music parts on the keyboard and recording vocals. She arranges her vocals in a very interesting way, layering backing vocals in three of four voices in the harmonies that she sings herself: alto, mezzo soprano, soprano and different melodic lines. She uses her voice as an instrument. She is a performing and recording composer who also creates her performance with elements of musical theatre.

Jahna moved to London from another country all by herself in 2006. It takes a lot of strength to do that alone. She launched her legendary music studio and record label Multivizion Music. Jahna has recorded and sound produced time-defining albums and mixtapes by many well-known hiphop artists and created a movement that has shaped the new direction in musicality and lyricism in Eastern Europe and beyond. She helped pioneer grime genre there and connect the dots between the lyricism of the long-standing poetic tradition there with the modern musical ways of expression. At the same time Jahna brings the sounds of India and the beats of the UK sound to her music.

Jahna has worked on and released hundreds of songs and keeps on taking her musicianship to the next level.

Jahna has released three EPs and two albums ‘The Alchemist’ and ‘Legends On The Map’. She has written, recorded, produced, arranged, performed and mixed all of the music on them at her studio Multivizion Music. She has also released hit songs like ‘Day By Day’ and ‘Choice to Be Free’ as singles from her third album ‘Revelation Ships. The artworks to the three albums have been drawn by a talented artist Ainur Timergaliev and have been exhibited as they are real art pieces.

Meditation music is also a part of Jahna’s musical journey. It is the music for peace of mind, music that can assist with relaxation, concentration and connect with the Universe and go within. ‘Aurora Meditation’ is a peaceful tune and it has Indian sitar in it.  When asked about ‘Aurora Meditation’, Ms.Sebastian stated “I compose while freestyling. I just go with the flow and create it in a very organic way, like a live jam or a ceremony. ‘Aurora Meditation’ accentuates the power of the mind and soul”. Speaking about another song ‘Sun Light’ meditation, Jahna said: ‘The light of the sun is vital for life on planet Earth. This is a living tradition. It is reflected in many words in the languages, the mother tongues of the cultures I represent. For many thousands of years these traditions have been kept and preserved for the people to be in harmony with nature, Earth and Cosmos. The light of the soul is also considered a great power, more important than any amount of money.”

Jahna Sebastian with her instrument domra

‘Rise’ from the her third album also has these uplifting qualities in the same way. Ms. Sebastian plays the melodies on her musical instrument domra in the song.

Jahna has released many music videos to her songs with very powerful visuals. She is writing the treatments and concepts to her music videos and styles her outfits. ‘Midnight Dancer’ is focusing on bringing forth the idea of immortality of the soul. ‘Day by Day’ music video is about the inspirational movement she is creating to empower people all around the world to make a positive change. ‘Fearless’ and ‘I Wish’ are making incredible statements, while showcasing beautiful fashion pieces and representing art in motion.

Alchemist TV

Jahna Sebastian is the founder of creative platform Alchemist TV. It is represents the modern era of media, when boundaries between music, fashion and film are going away. As the social media platforms rise, Jahna creates original content, that she films, directs, edits and it features her own music that she writes. Alchemist TV shows how these different forms of media can be merged by one artist and when Jahna launched it in 2017, it became the pioneering and innovative platform. Jahna has always been ahead of the trends, starting work in the new directions years before they capture the world. In this sense, Alchemist TV is the embodiment of the original idea that stands right at the beginning of this new media era made by a musical artist and Jahna Sebastian stands at the forefront as a leader.

Alchemist TV is a platform that brings creativity, music, art, fashion, philosophy and other forms of art. The purpose is to change culture to unite people from all around the world and bring forward the true purpose of what Art can have in our times.

‘Alchemist TV is something that can be seen as the voice of the people. Alchemist TV is here to make the change, to let the culture have the voice of the people, rather than corporations. It’s the opposite of this corporate way of thinking – ‘divide and rule’ – it’s completely different, it’s all about the people, the audience, the artist and everybody’s story, that can unify humans around the world. That’s what we need, people need to be united, this is the most important time in history, right now that we are living in and we need to have this opportunity to create culture together, to co-create and in fact that’s how people of the world will make history, rather than let history make them or let it go with the flow.’

Alchemist TV is a part of a major culture movement Ms. Sebastian is creating.

Multivizion Music studio is the cultural centre, where new ideas are created. Alchemist TV showcases many sides of Jahna’s creative journey with the artists, designers, musicians, photographers and many others she is working with. It’s an international movement that is transforming culture.

Jahna films and edits the episodes herself, many of them capturing spontaneous conversations with creatives as she is traveling around the world.

As the brand ambassador for many fashion designers, Jahna decided to also take it a step further and pioneered a concept ‘Poetic Fashion Story’, when she modelled and wrote a 13 verses poem to describe every picture she took in the photoshoot and the story. As a regular celebrity attendant of London Fashion Week for many years, she captures conversations with designers that can be watched on Alchemist TV and broadcasts the fashion shows. Fashion is an artful statement for Jahna, it is a visual expression of herself.

Alchemist TV also has a website AlchemistTV.com which was designed by WhyBeeKay, a coder and a rapper with amazing lyrical skills.

Ms. Sebastian was quoted saying, ‘The power of the artist, who listens to the beat of the Universe, the power of the mind unifying elements.’

NEW YORK – Nov. 24, 2022 – Leaders Magazine UK is getting up close and personal with London based singer, sound engineer, philosopher, videographer and multi-instrumentalist Jahna Sebastian! Who is also an accomplished musician who writes, produces, performs, engineers, mixes her own music doing it all from programming instruments to editing. She is the founder of independent record label and music studio Multivizion Music and culture platform Alchemist TV. The brunette beauty interviewed with the international magazine to discuss all things music, future projects and her thoughts on what freedom means to her.

Check out a condensed sneak peak of the interview below:

When did you start doing music?
I have been singing all my life, from the age of seven I played domra in children’s orchestra for eight years. I graduated from the university with A Master’s Degree at the age of 19 just before I turned 20. I also attended a one year Music Production course in London. I always wanted to be the master of music in every way as it is a universal language that can unite people and tell stories.

What is your creative process like?
I do everything myself, I work alone in my studio. It can start with the concept of the song, sometimes I write the lyrics first. I also often create the beat first, starting with the drums and bass line, adding piano, synth or other sounds. I usually compose the melody as I record, especially when I am arranging the backing vocals. I sing many layers of backing vocals. I work in Logic and Pro Tools with various plugins. I play piano and use my keyboard to make music arrangements, program beats and for automation in music production. I also play other instruments. I mix the entire song, I love the part of it when I am adding effects, it can really transform the sound. I film and edit many of my visuals and I style myself. I work on it every day, all the time, coming up with ideas on the spot. I read a lot of books, both nonfiction and fiction. Creativity is a way of life for me.

Many of your songs are about freedom. What does it mean for you?
Freedom is the theme of my life. It is necessary to be creative. It also means responsibility. In the XXI century when there is powerful technology, it is about knowing how to use it for the better of both the people and the planet. In the information age, even though there are so many channels and platforms, it is important to know what is real and use intuition.

Jahna Sebastian Releases The Visuals to Her New Single,”How Did We Get Here?”

Jahna Sebastian

London based singer/songwriter, producer, videographer, multi-instrumentalist Jahna Sebastian, who plays piano and domra releases the visuals to her new single How Did We Get Here? which is the third single from her upcoming new album Revelation Ships.  The soulful vocals was written, recorded, produced, arranged, performed and mixed by Ms. Sebastian at her studio Multivizion Music.  The meaningful lyrics about the world are sung over a dubstep beat which also represents the London sound where she lives.

The video was filmed in Scotland and London and Ms. Sebastian is dressed in a breathtaking green dress by designer Valdenize Soares. The multi talented songstress edited the video and also played the chorus of the song on the piano. Ms. Sebastian was classically trained on the piano during her studies at the university in the early 2000s. Ms. Sebastian stated, “When I was 16, every day I would wake up and go to my university across the road first thing in the morning to practice piano in one of the grand piano rooms. In my historical area Arbat, where I lived, many great composers, singers, poets and writers were hanging out for hundreds of years. Before the piano I had already been playing a string instrument called domra from the age of 7, it is an ancient instrument with many variations played in the East, similar to mandolin. I have learned to read music and play domra from the age of 7 and played professionally in the children’s orchestra, performing on the stages of over a thousand people and backing famous artists by the age of 11. This was also my first paid job”.

Playing keyboard and making legendary hip hop beats as well as music in other genres is what helped Ms. Seabastian launch her studio Multivizion Music in 2007.  Her talent with excelling on the keyboard enables her to make and perform any instrument in any genre.

From the age of 7 till the age of 15 Ms. Sebastian played many classical and folk pieces in the orchestra. The talented, multi-faceted artist listened to a variety of classical music and was able to sing opera and romances from a very early age in her childhood.  Ms. Seabastian stated, “In my environment where I grew up it was culturally normal to play the piano if you wanted to be a professional musician.

As Ms. Sebastian moved on to composing her own music, she purchased a keyboard Korg Triton in 2004 and quickly learned how to use it by reading the manual. although during the early 2000s there were no online tutorials or social media to assist. Ms. Sebastian stated, “As I attended a music production course in 2006/2007, I learned to play different parts of the beats on the keyboard while mixing on the go. As a producer it means playing every musical part while composing, rather than simply telling other people what to play.  The keyboard became the go-to instrument when I am writing songs to make the arrangement in various genres from hip hop to house to folk music”. She plays other instruments and took lessons on the guitar at the age of 13, also bass guitar and many others.

Global Popstar Jahna Sebastian Releases the Remix Snippet to her Powerful Single ‘Leader’

‘Leader’ Remix by Jahna Sebastian artwork, 2022

NEW YORK – May 30, 2022 – PRLog — Singer/songwriter, producer, engineer, alchemist of sound and healer Jahna Sebastian is set to release a remix snippet to her powerful single ‘Leader’. It was written, recorded, produced, arranged, performed and mixed by Ms. Sebastian at her recording studio Multivizion Music. This thought provoking song is about leadership and taking charge in life when needed. Ms. Sebastian stated, ” I have been working on many projects, leading the way, being a trendsetter. I started a live reggae/hip-hop band in Russia, when I was 19, this was my first experience producing a live band and writing songs while jamming with the musicians. When I moved to London, I founded my own studio and record label Multivizion Music. When I launched my studio, I pioneered a new hip hop and grime music movement in London. This was a way for me to become a producer, singer, songwriter so that I could do everything in music and create my own unique sound”.

Ms. Sebastian is quite talented and creative, in 2017 she created a new concept, which she titled ‘Poetic Fashion Story’. Where she details the ways in which she was working with a fashion designer. She stated, “I took pictures while modeling the outfits and wrote a poem to go with every image that was telling the story of the collection. The theme of the collection was The Opulent Queen’. Through my poem and the pictures, I told the story, I also added my music to the visual representation”.

Ms. Sebastian is both multi-talented and multifaceted. While working on her albums, she always took charge of the creative process, and made sure she was authentic with her masterpieces of art. Her art is her soul and it derives from her personal experiences. Which is why her first album was titled ‘The Alchemist’, which means a creative who listens to the beat of the Universe and works on self-identity.

Ms. Sebastian is always evolving and finding new ways to give back to her fans and humanity. She launched Alchemist TV to inspire the human race and to make the world a better place.  Ms. Sebastian is passionate and dedicated to her craft. Alchemist TV is a major platform that shares the happenings and the news around the world that many people underground looked, to provide truth and honesty about current events and politics. It has become one of the main channels that covered events in the past two years about the people and their power, with many exclusives about historical events.

Ms. Sebastian stated, “Whether it’s music, fashion, art, visuals, spiritual knowledge, it is about paving the way to help humanity. In most spiritual traditions around the world the journey of the soul means finding the truth through learning from different experiences, becoming enlightened, going towards the light of knowledge. In the past two hundred years, especially after Hegel’s dialectics, there is a view that is commonly pushed, that everyone has their own truth and according to that ‘nobody knows the truth’ and every human being only sees the world based on experiences from childhood and later on in life. However, in ancient spiritual traditions it is possible to know the ultimate truth about events. Those who are able to achieve this state are called the ‘people of knowledge’. They lead other people, this is higher than politics and banking systems as it is the knowledge about the way the Universe works”.

At the same time being a leader does not equate to being selfish. In the East, in many traditional cultures, a person leads by example as it helps the community.

Music is a leading form of the arts that connects people and teaches them. 2022 is the Year of the Tiger, which symbolizes the ultimate leader, a revolutionary mind.
